"The legendary Hershey's Kiss-topped cookie"

The Story
Created by Freda Smith of Gibsonburg, Ohio, for the 9th Pillsbury Bake-Off, these cookies originally utilized Hershey's Kisses and Pillsbury flour. They were so wildly popular that they became a permanent fixture on the packaging of both brands, representing one of the most successful cross-promotions in American food history.
