What we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account's basic profile (name, email, avatar URL). When you save a recipe to your favorites we store a record linking your user ID to that recipe.
How we use it
We use your account to authenticate you and to show you the favorites you saved. We do not sell your personal data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not share your data with third parties except the infrastructure providers required to run the site (our database/auth provider and our hosting provider).
Cookies & local storage
We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies and local storage entries to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and favorites at any time by emailing us. If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA) you have additional rights including data portability and the right to object to processing.
