The Story

Developed by Dorcas Reilly at the Campbell Soup Company test kitchen, this recipe was originally intended to be a quick side dish using pantry staples. It became a permanent fixture on the labels of Green Giant canned beans and French's Crispy Fried Onions, cementing its status as an American Thanksgiving staple.
