Eagle Brand Foolproof Chocolate Fudge

The Story

Introduced in the early 1960s to capitalize on the home-cook's desire for convenience, this recipe revolutionized candy making. By using sweetened condensed milk, Borden eliminated the need for the difficult 'soft-ball stage' testing required by traditional fudge recipes. It remains one of the most requested recipes in the history of the Eagle Brand label.
