Bisquick Shake 'n Pour Pancakes

"The easiest way to make pancakes without the mess."

The Story
While Bisquick had provided pancake recipes since its 1931 launch, the 'Shake 'n Pour' method became a marketing sensation in the mid-1960s. General Mills promoted the idea that the packaging itself (or a simple jar) could replace the mixing bowl, emphasizing the convenience of a no-mess breakfast for busy families.
