Bisquick Chicken Pot Pie

The Story
Part of the highly successful 'Impossibly Easy' campaign, this recipe became a staple on the back of Bisquick boxes in the late 1960s. It revolutionized dinner for busy households by using the mix to create a self-leveling crust that forms while baking, eliminating the need for rolling out pastry dough.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Bisquick Original baking mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 bag (16 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
- 2 cups cubed cooked chicken
Directions

Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 9-inch glass pie plate.

Mix chicken, vegetables, and condensed soup in the pie plate.

In a small bowl, stir together Bisquick mix, milk, and egg with a fork until blended.
